Waterman burst upon the Turtle Scene in late 2002 when we published
his Children
of the Non-Revolution and Globalisation
from the Middle: Reflections from a Margin, and in 2003 his
strenuous productive activity has led to From Comrades'
Agreements to the Reinvention of Social Emancipation, Second
Reflections of the Third World Social Forum, The
Forward March of Labour Recommenced, and his Hegemonising
Resistance, which led to what we can now dub our second Stakhanovite
Death Match, as Peter went
the distance
with Dave Renton (Stakhanovite of the Month, October
1999). It's a fine body of quota-shattering work, with which
the Turtle is proud to be associated.
The
Turtle Salutes Comrade Waterman, whose name will be forever inscribed
in fiery letters in the Annals of Stakhanovism!
