The versatile
Joe Bord scoops our coveted award this month after providing us
with two articles in quick succeession, mapping out pathways towards
the restoration of two of Britain's tattered institutions, the railways
on the one hand and the National
Health Service on the other.
But by
no means does this exhaust his Contributions to the Turtle. Taken
together, these constitute a multimedia festival of his Words and
Ideas, for we have also printed his thoughts on novels
and films -- as well
as at least one of his darker
fantasies.
The Turtle
Salutes Comrade Bord, and crowns his brow with laurels for his Quota-Busting
activities -- long may they continue!
