The children are
Thinking to themselves

Are we
Waiting?
Is that it?
What are we
Waiting for?
Not in a hurry
Are they?
Are we?
What is it
They know?
Oh Bishnu!

The priests
The politicians
The professionals
The paramilitaries
Are not really
Thinking

The hills are
Blooming

Something
Will change
We will
Bring it
About
Encirling
The cities
The villages
We will
Flatten
The hills
Of injustice

The children are
Thinking to themselves

Are we
Arriving?
Where
Are we arriving?
In a hurry
Are they?
Are we?
What is it
They know?
Oh Bishnu!

The Editors are pleased to present this, the first of undoubtedly many homages to The Mao of Pooh.
