Everyday as I stroll
to the Universitatei
I see the ruins of Romanian socialism
on the ground, rubble of buildings
the burgeoning shops, the billboards
prostituting themselves on Bulevardul Take Ionescu
& the old communists reinventing themselves
left, right, and strangely right of centre.
